This training is for the 7 program sites implementing STAR in their programs.  All participants are invited and expected for this training including teachers, paraprofessionals, related service providers, and others that are on the team.  This one-day workshop is designed to provide continued support and coaching to EBP Implementation Project using STAR participants.  Time to collaborate between program sites to discuss challenges and tips will be part of this training opportunity.   We will also take time to celebrate the hard work that everyone has done to implement STAR over the past 4 months!

The workshop will also include discussions and the practice of data collection for instructional decision making and implementing the STAR practices with fidelity.  The workshop will engage participants in continued hands-on practice activities to increase skills in the instructional strategies of discrete trial training, pivotal response training and teaching functional routines as described in the STAR Program.

Please work with your district on arranging a sub for this day if needed.  All participant registration and lunch will be covered by the grant.

Funding for this workshop is made possible with a grant from the MN Department of Education. The source of the funds is federal award Special Education – Programs to States, CFDA 84.027A. This event does not necessarily represent the policy of the federal Department of Education or the state Department of Education.
