PODD: Communication Partner Training

Pragmatic Organization Dynamic Display (PODD) approach provides strategies to support the design, production, and implementation of communication systems to enable genuine communication for a variety of functions in all daily environments. PODD enables the person using the communication system and their communication partners to move efficiently between levels (pages) to locate vocabulary they require. PODD assists quick access to predictable messages and access to a broad range of vocabulary for spontaneous, unpredicted messages.

This overview will provide teachers, para-professionals, parents, and other communication partners with an introduction to PODD communication systems. Participants will be given hands-on practice. Video and case examples will be shared. Assessment will not be covered.

Cancellation: You can cancel your own registration for an event before the cancellation deadline. (Please check the event information for specific cancellation details.) If the event has a fee, refunds are possible only if cancellation is prior to the deadline. If you do not attend and do not cancel prior to an event, you are still responsible for payment and will be billed.
