This training is for: Staff from sites currently installing Family-Guided Routines-Based Intervention (FGRBI) Model through the MnCoE or who participated in RP2 home visiting training through MDE.

Family Guided Routines Based Intervention (FGBRI) is an approach to early intervention which incorporates developmentally appropriate skill building into daily routines in the child’s natural environment. The innovation embeds different coaching techniques and how to vary them to meet the individual needs of each family.

Guide C is the third in the five part series for FGRBI Innovation Sites. This session support the interventionist to focus on family strengths and how the family is able to embed intervention. This session will continue skill building in “Observation and Opportunities for Practice” and bring in the coaching strategies of Direct Teaching and Joint Interaction.
