A full-day workshop dedicated to bringing educators together to share knowledge about educational technology in the classroom. The day will be broken-down into two sections. The first part of the day will be covering the Google Platform and many of its resources including YouTube Captioning, Google Classroom, and Google Drive. The second part of the workshop will cover other educational technology programs and apps such as Kahoot, Flipgrid, Quizlet, Edupuzzle, and more! Teachers will get hands on experience with these programs and apps and walk away with resources to bring back to their classrooms.

Goals of the Workshop

All attendees will be able to:

  • apply at least one new skill in regards to educational technology in the classroom
  • demonstrate leadership by modeling the use of educational technology to others in their district
  • identify ways that educational technology can be used to support instruction and student learning
  • create at least one new tool to use in the classroom with students
