Summary:
The Minnesota Department of Education is partnering with Metro ECSU to provide a FREE professional development opportunity for educators around the state. As an educator, you are a critical component of these assessments and we want to make sure all educators are aware of the intricate details that go into the Minnesota Assessments. Holly Brunson, the Outreach and Training Specialist, will be presenting a series of instructional modules to address the objectives listed below.
Learning Objectives:
· Differentiate the assessments given in the state of Minnesota
· Identify how to use ALDs during classroom lesson planning
· Explain how test specifications are used in test development
· Describe the steps in item development and field testing processes
· Become familiar with the MCA test construction process
· Identify the differences between computer adaptive and fixed form testing administrations
· Recognize the different data reports generated by the state of Minnesota
This course qualifies for 6 Teacher CEU’s and 2 Administrative CEUs. Lunch is provided.
