Goal:  BVI CoP will develop a video of PowerPoint presentation to share with district staff and IEP Team members to increase the awareness of the role of the TBVI.  Done

Goal:  Purchase and study Amanda Lueck’s Vision and the Brain:  Understanding Cerebral Visual Impairments in Children     Members have books and are discussing a chapter each meeting.

Goal:  Ask Amanda Hall Lueck for a presentation as a cross categorical event.  CoP explored and decided against that presenter, but will hear Dr. Christine Roman-Lantzy on CVI  at Charting the Cs.

Goal:  Discuss and increase use of the MN Manual of Accommodations.  Done  Nov. 29, 2016

Other Topics discussed: Student Events for High School, Middle School and elementary students, Kristin Oien attended and clarified issues on qualifying students with a CVI

Plan to continue or discontinue present work and events.  Set dates for next year.
