This workshop will consist of a panel of Deaf and Hard of hearing students. Panelists were mainstreamed through part of or all of their education and utilized an educational sign language interpreter. The focus of the workshop will be on the student's experience in being educated through the use of interpreting services and what they feel worked and what could have been improved upon. In addition to each panelist giving us a bit of their story there will also be facilitated Question and Answer time with open dialogue opportunities. There will be a chance to work in a small group with a panelist to work through scenarios and get direct feedback and insights into how the educational interpreter may be able to improve upon the student's educational experience.
**Workshop will be presented in Sign Language
This program is offered for 2.0 CEH TECUnit hours and .2 RID CEUS (pending approval)
