Behavior Strategies for Students with Special Needs

 

WHO:  General Educators, Special Education Educators, Administrators, Para Educators, and Related service providers.

WHAT: Behavior Strategies For Students with Special Needs

In this 2 hour session, staff will gain a better understanding of the functions of behavior and will learn guidelines for proactive behavior interventions when working with students with challenging behaviors. Participants will learn practical and effective strategies to address challenging behaviors, self-regulation techniques, and social skills intervention strategies when working with students with special needs.  This workshop DOES count as Behavior Training for licensure renewal.

PRESENTERS: Diane Hughes, Special Education Teacher, And Angela Haffner, Behavior Intervention Specialist

Attendees will NOT receive payment but will receive CEU credits.
