Workshop Description:  Participants in this workshop will learn about social/emotional units of study with lessons centered on
»» developing social perspective taking skills
»» increasing awareness of emotions and associated non-verbal cues
»» controlling impulsive behaviors
»» expanding the social awareness skills necessary for reciprocal friendships and social interactions

These units of study incorporate lesson activities utilizing children’s literature,
a variety of visual learning tools, role-play activities, interactive games, internet
resources, and other technology tools.

Presenter:  Jill D. Kuzma, MA, CCC-SLP
Jill is widely known for her energetic presentation style and for providing teaching
ideas that are user-friendly and immediately applicable in the classroom. Get to
