Respond Not React:
Increasing Effectiveness in Kids Who Challenge Us

Kids who won’t listen or don’t want to work? Feel yourself getting burned out or frustrated? Join us for motivation and inspiration with practical, easy to use research-based strategies that will build your confidence and capacity in handling misbehavior. After a brief understanding of behavior and the brain, Angie will problem solve with you while teaching, modeling, and practicing techniques from many different behavior management philosophies, so you feel more empowered and effective! You'll add to your "tool box" to restore and rebuild relationships while feeling more effective and confident when responding to students with challenging behaviors.

Participants will:

  • Develop a better understanding of the brain and factors impacting behavior
  • Participate in hands-on experiential activities that can be utilized with people of all ages
  • Walk away with numerous skills and strategies to proactively and positively impact relationships with others

Who Should Attend?
Teachers, paraprofessionals, counselors, nurses, administrators, and other interested educators
