Wilson Reading System® Introductory 3-Day
This course provides participants with an overview of the Wilson Reading System® (WRS) 4th Edition curriculum, reading research, dyslexia, appropriate student identification and placement, program implementation, progress monitoring, scheduling, and creating a successful learning environment, and serves as the prerequisite for WRS Level I Certification. Principles of language structure and how to teach language explicitly to students in grade two and beyond with persistent phonological coding deficits using multisensory methods are demonstrated and practiced during this consecutive three-day (16.5 hour) course.

Event fee*: $455 Metro ECSU member, non-member $950.
*A WRS Introductory kit, which includes basic materials required to begin teaching the curriculum in the classroom for Levels 1-6, can be purchased for an additional fee of $305. Register by June 3rd to receive your kit for the workshop).
