Leadership Design Academy for Personalized Learning

Facilitators Include: Dr. Jim Rickabaugh, Brenda Vogds, and Dria Setter; The Institute for Personalized Learning

For: District Teams looking to move beyond getting started, who want to take personalized learning to the next level. Teams must include Superintendent or Assistant Super Intendent/Director of Teaching and Learning. 

This Cohort learning opportunity is designed as a two-year process. The dates, content and costs on this registration site reflect only year one. 

Teams will: 

  • Take a personalized learning idea and transform it into and actionable design to be implemented into practice. 
  • Learn, build, and apply a strategic action plan based on a customized entry point. 
  • Design and align a customized personalized learning model using a 6-step transformation process. 
  • Revise and expand on personalized learning ideas as part of a coaching and feedback process. 
  • Create a customized process that moves your personalized learning work toward a systemic change. 

Participation fee: 

Team members may be up to five participants. Additional members $100 per person

Districts Under 5,000 Student population

Metro ECSU Member             $1,500

Non-Member                          $3,000

Districts Over 5,000 Student Population

Metro ECSU Member             $2,000

Non-Member                          $3,500

Cancellation: You can cancel your own registration for an event before the cancellation deadline. (Please check the event information for specific cancellation details.) If the event has a fee, refunds are possible only if cancellation is prior to the deadline. If you do not attend and do not cancel prior to an event, you are still responsible for payment and will be billed.

Special Accommodations: Please alert BrightWorks 2-3 weeks prior to the workshop/event if you need special accommodations, including sign language interpreters. (BrightWorks requires a notice of 2 business days to cancel a sign language interpreter. If you fail to cancel, we reserve the right to bill your school/district for this expense.) Update your profile as needed. Special accommodations are not included with each registration, but are stored in your profile until you make changes.
