Morning Keynote Topic: The Prevalence of Mental Health Concerns Following a TBI.

Speaker: Dr. Naomi Nystrom

Dr. Nystrom is the neuropsychologist for the southern region of Mental Health Substance Abuse Treatment Services (MHSATS) within the MN Department of Human Services (DHS). She has been working with the State of Minnesota since October 2018. Prior to her position with the state, she completed a neuropsychology and addictions fellowship at William S. Middleton VA Hospital in Madison, WI. She received her B.A. in biology and psychology from Concordia College in Moorhead, MN in May 2011 and received her doctorate in clinical psychology from Midwestern University in Downers Grove, IL in September 2016.
 

Afternoon Keynote Topic: The Scope of Practice of a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker, LICSW.

Speaker:  Jodi Greenstein, MSW, LICSW, CBIS

Jodi Greenstein is a graduate of the St. Catherine University/University of St. Thomas School of Social Work and has been employed at Courage Center/Courage Kenny Rehabilitation Institute since 2004.  She supervises Community Behavior Services at the Golden Valley Campus.  She is a certified instructor for the Crisis Prevention Institute’s Non-Violent Crisis Prevention Training.  Additionally, Jodi is a member of the MN Department of Human Services Traumatic Brain Injury Advisory Committee and has served as Chair of this Committee.  She is also a member of the Department of Human Service External Program Review Committee, addressing the use/reduction of physical restraints.
