Meeting Purpose:

The Region 11 Low Incidence Literacy Community of Practice is to build capacity and resources in MN areas attempting to implement literacy with struggling readers. The meetings also provide an opportunity for continued community for those who have attended literacy camp and comprehensive literacy trainings.  Our overarching goal is to increase Minnesota Educators’ ability to implement research-based literacy practices with fidelity.

Meeting Agenda:

9:30-10:00   Check in on elearning – Literacy successes to share? How is it going? How can we support?
10:00-10:15 Tech Supports for the CoP Group
10:15-10:45 Comprehensive Literacy for All Book Share Outs
10:45-11:15 Comprehensive Literacy interview with Karen & Dave Webinar + Discussion around trainings coming up for summer & online PD
11:15-12:00 Goal Progress Review & Goal Planning for 2020-2021

CEU Hours: 1.5 (general) 1.0 (reading instruction)

If you do not attend and do not cancel prior to an event, you are still responsible for payment and will be billed.

(BrightWorks requires a notice of 2 business days to cancel a sign language interpreter. If you fail to cancel, we reserve the right to bill your school/district for this expense.)
