This training is for: Staff from sites that are currently installing Classroom Engagement Model through the MNCoE or who attended RP2 training at MDE. Participants must complete CEM Modules 1, 2, 3 and 4 prior to attending this training.

The Classroom Engagement Model is a framework for improving engagement, independence and social relationship by promoting full participation of every child in a classroom setting. The model emphasizes teaming and collaboration to embed opportunities to learn and practice functional goals into daily routines. Classroom Engagement Model benefits children with disabilities as well as typically developing children.

In module 5, participants will participate in a showcase, demonstrating how they are implementing CEM. Participants will learn from each other and action plan their next goals for implementing with fidelity.

This training is for participants who are actively installing the Classroom Engagement Model with support from MnCoE in their Early Childhood Education Programs, or who participated in RP2 training through MDE.  Participants must complete CEM Modules 1, 2, 3 and 4 prior to attending this training.
