Workers’ Compensation and COVID

Debra Heisick from the Minnesota Department of Labor along with their General Counsel’s office will talk about COVID and workers’ compensation. They will discuss the most frequently asked questions and more. Bring your Human Resources staff and anyone else who may benefit from this session.

These meetings provide updated information to assist districts and schools in dealing with health and safety issues and developing programs that assist in compliance with regulations and mandates as well as the protection of health and safety conditions and materials in a school environment.

Non-Member:  $20 per person or $50 per district

Cancellation: You can cancel your own registration for an event before the cancellation deadline. (Please check the event information for specific cancellation details.) If the event has a fee, refunds are possible only if cancellation is prior to the deadline. If you do not attend and do not cancel prior to an event, you are still responsible for payment and will be billed.

Special Accommodations: Please alert Metro ECSU 2-3 weeks prior to the workshop/event if you need special accommodations, including sign language interpreters. (Metro ECSU requires a notice of 2 business days to cancel a sign language interpreter. If you fail to cancel, we reserve the right to bill your school/district for this expense.)
