Link for participation will be emailed to Registrants

Date:  January 12, 2021
Time:  5:00 p.m - 7:00 p.m.

Workshop description:  As Educators of Deaf and Heard of Hearing Students in the Public School Setting  your profession is already challenging. COVID just adds another layer, and a scary one, too. In this workshop, we will acknowledge our current reality, and how we are doing mentally, emotionally and physically. Using the Self-Care Wheel, we will be able to visually see where we are at. You will learn basic self-care tools that you can use immediately. This includes a basic introduction to Chair Yoga that can be done by anyone, breathing techniques that help bring you to find calmness in all matters, and be given some different mindfulness tools. Not every tool will be for you, but at the end of this workshop, you will leave with something you can use at work the very next day.

CEU Hours:  .2  RID CEU's  or  2 ASL/CEU hours

Sponsored by Regional Low Incidence Projects - Region 11
