Minnesota SOLS for the Classroom: SOLS Overview
The STAR Online Learning System (SOLS) includes evidence-based lesson plans and a scope and sequence that provides scaffolded learning opportunities. All MN teachers are eligible for a FREE SOLS account that will allow you to provide your students individualized learning opportunities. The focus of the instruction uses the evidence-based practices appropriate for students with autism to teach skills in critical areas.
In this workshop, participants will learn how to implement these strategies through structured lesson plans and a curriculum scope and
sequence. This workshop is a 1.5 hour overview of SOLS and will familiarize the participants with the program and provide information on how to set up a free account.
Special Accommodations: Please alert BrightWorks 2-3 weeks prior to the workshop/event if you need special accommodations, including sign language interpreters. (BrightWorks requires a notice of 2 business days to cancel a sign language interpreter. If you fail to cancel, we reserve the right to bill your school/district for this expense.) Update your profile as needed. Special accommodations are not included with each registration, but are stored in your profile until you make changes.
