Affinity Group Network: Staff of Color


“SEE All, SERVE ALL, SUPPORT ALL” Reimagine Minnesota

Metro ECSU is offering an Affinity Group for staff of color and others interested in these conversations.

Who should attend: Teachers, Para professionals, licensed maintenance staff, counselors, bus drivers, nurses, administrators; anyone who has an instructional or support role in a school district

Join us and be a part of :

  • A network that will support ongoing dialogue on issues impacting professional and career development for staff of color.
  • A regional community that creates a space for staff of color to gain insights and support from others around the Metro.  

 Focus

  • Staff of Color in Minnesota School Districts: What does that look like? What can districts do to build positive practices that aid in retention and recruitment?  Bring your ideas to add to the discussion.

Registration fee: Metro ECSU members: $105 Metro ECSU Non members: $210

Please note: If an invoice is required, an additional $10 fee will apply. 

Cancellation: You can cancel your own registration for an event before the cancellation deadline. (Please check the event information for specific cancellation details.) If the event has a fee, refunds are possible only if cancellation is prior to the deadline. If you do not attend and do not cancel prior to an event, you are still responsible for payment and will be billed.

Special Accommodations: Please alert BrightWorks 2-3 weeks prior to the workshop/event if you need special accommodations, including sign language interpreters. (BrightWorks requires a notice of 2 business days to cancel a sign language interpreter. If you fail to cancel, we reserve the right to bill your school/district for this expense.) Update your profile as needed. Special accommodations are not included with each registration, but are stored in your profile until you make changes.
