The purpose of this course is to educate school-based therapists on the characteristics of neuromuscular diseases, review the standards of care for rehabilitation, and discuss strategies and equipment to meet children's needs in a school-based setting.

1:35-1:50: Duchenne care considerations
1:50-2:05: Spinal muscular atrophy care considerations
2:05-2:15: Charcot Marie Tooth Disease care considerations
2:15-2:30: Interventions and compensatory strategies
2:30-3:00: Questions and discussion

General CEU Hours: 1.5
Course is pending approval by the MN Board of Physical Therapy for 1.5 CEU hours
