Region 11 EHDI CoP Virtual Meeting

This Region 11 EHDI Community of Practice meeting will include a presentation by Anne Barlow, Heidy Lazario, and Emily Smith-Lundberg on the recent leadership changes and family-support programming updates at MN Hands & Voices, the DHH Guide Program, and the MN Deaf Mentor Family Program.

The agenda also includes group discussions and collaborative work opportunities to:

1. Compile information resources to use with families to encourage children’s consistent use of hearing technology,
2. Explore the “why?” and “how?” of objective documentation of children’s hearing and vision status for all children referred to school districts’ ECSE programs for eligibility evaluations,
3. Describe individual team’s EHDI activity plans for this school year; share ideas and support,
4. Share information about planned professional development opportunities for providers during the 2021-2022 school year. 

Cancellation: You can cancel your own registration for an event before the cancellation deadline. (Please check the event information for specific cancellation details.) If the event has a fee, refunds are possible only if cancellation is prior to the deadline. If you do not attend and do not cancel prior to an event, you are still responsible for payment and will be billed.

(BrightWorks requires a notice of 2 business days to cancel a sign language interpreter. If you fail to cancel, we reserve the right to bill your school/district for this expense.)
