Do your Middle and High School Engineering programs meet your needs?
Engineering byDesign is a program that is:

  • Standards Based 
  • Has variety and flexibility to fit your requirements
  • Allows you to Integrate “Legacy Projects”.
  • Can be integrated to use the available equipment.
  • Lesson plans that are easy to reconfigure to meet classroom needs?
  • Has easy to follow lesson plans, with “Big Ideas” and “Learning Targets” clearly identified?
  •  Complete materials lists that are easily sourced.
  • A project/problem based curriculum that has students integrating Science and Math through engineering and technology.
  • College credit opportunity for students through Saint Cloud State University.

The Engineering byDesign has Middle School & High School programs that meets these needs and more!
MN Engineering byDesign is hosting an introductory workshop so you can experience the Engineering byDesign program.

The Introductory session will include:

  • An overview of the K-12 Engineering by Design Program
  • An experience in a 6 “E” learning activity
  •  In Depth introduction to grade level coursework
  • An “Active” learning experience
  • One month access to the Engineering byDesign “BUZZ” LMS

Cost: The Minnesota Technology and Engineering Educators Association is sponsoring this workshop! There is no cost for this Introductory workshop and lunch will be provided. Space is limited. When registering, please add a note with the grade level you teach. 
 

Cancellation: You can cancel your own registration for an event before the cancellation deadline. (Please check the event information for specific cancellation details.) If the event has a fee, refunds are possible only if cancellation is prior to the deadline. If you do not attend and do not cancel prior to an event, you are still responsible for payment and will be billed.

Special Accommodations: Please alert BrightWorks 2-3 weeks prior to the workshop/event if you need special accommodations, including sign language interpreters. (BrightWorks requires a notice of 2 business days to cancel a sign language interpreter. If you fail to cancel, we reserve the right to bill your school/district for this expense.) Update your profile as needed. Special accommodations are not included with each registration, but are stored in your profile until you make changes.
