This is a private series for Forest Lake

Audience:
Staff from sites currently installing Classroom Engagement Model through MnCoE. Participants must complete CEM Module 1 prior to attending this training.

The Classroom Engagement Model is a framework for improving engagement, independence and social relationship by promoting full participation of every child in a classroom setting. The model emphasizes teaming and collaboration to embed opportunities to learn and practice functional goals into daily routines. Classroom Engagement Model benefits children with disabilities as well as typically developing children.

In module 2, participants will create zoning plans, reflect on family engagement practices and learn to monitor individual child engagement using the STARE. This is the second training in a series of five trainings.

Lunch for Centers of Excellence trainings is an hour, it is on your own out in the community, or feel free to bring a bag lunch.

Interpreter needs: when you receive email confirmation for this training, please contact Kevin at kevin.monagan@metroecsu.org to make arrangements for interpreter services.

Please note that any training may be cancelled if less than 10 participants register.
