Topic 1. “For the Love of Dogs”- Differentiating Between a Service Dog and An Emotional Support Animal – Holly Shultz, Sugar and Krackle Holly and Sugar spend their volunteer time working to educate others on the benefits of utilizing service dogs and therapy dogs for kids and adults. They currently serve as a Community Support K9 team for the Anoka County Sheriff’s Department. They also serve as a certified therapy dog team with Therapy Dogs International. They enjoy spending their volunteer time together at memory care facilities, elementary schools, assisted living centers, and parades. Sugar is a big hit at a local high school where she is their “K9 Counselor”.
