This is a private series for Forest Lake

Audience: Staff from Forest Lake sites that are currently installing Classroom Engagement Model through the MNCoE. Participants should complete CEM Modules 1, 2, 3 and 4 prior to attending this training.

The Classroom Engagement Model is a framework for improving engagement, independence and social relationship by promoting full participation of every child in a classroom setting. The model emphasizes teaming and collaboration to embed opportunities to learn and practice functional goals into daily routines. Classroom Engagement Model benefits children with disabilities as well as typically developing children.

In module 5, participants will learn how incidental teaching supports engagement and learning. Additionally, participants will practice using all CEM practices to create a case study.

This is the final training in a five part series.

Interpreter needs: when you receive email confirmation for this training, please contact Kevin at kevin.monagan@metroecsu.org to make arrangements for interpreter services.

Please note that any training may be cancelled if less than 10 participants register.
