Congratulations! You've taken the first step and learned about the components of Science of Reading but as still wondering how to design an aligned literacy block?

Research shows that students need at least 90 minutes of uninterrupted reading instruction each day and that instruction must be systematic, explicit, scaffolded, and differentiated for all learners. In a Science of Reading classroom, this instruction includes phonemic awareness, phonics, vocabulary, and many opportunities to develop fluency, language, and comprehension.

In this course, you will design your literacy block and prepare to teach your students everything they need to become a skilled, proficient reader this year!

Cancellation: You can cancel your own registration for an event before the cancellation deadline. (Please check the event information for specific cancellation details.) If the event has a fee, refunds are possible only if cancellation is prior to the deadline. If you do not attend and do not cancel prior to an event, you are still responsible for payment and will be billed.
