Once you register for the course here, you will receive an email with a link to set up an account in SkyPrep, BrightWorks's new online learning management system.  From there, you can begin the course. This course is available for 8 weeks from the date of sign up.

The Date/Time below indicates when the course became available on our learning management system and is of no significance to your registration in this course. This is an online asynchronous course that begins the 8-week availability once you sign up in SkyPrep.

This module is designed for school nurses and school district staff that work in special education and is available free of charge.  The objective of the module is to describe best practices and the big picture role of the licensed school nurse in special education. This module is part of a series that includes Third Party Reimbursement for PCA Services and the Role of the Qualified Professional and Third-Party Reimbursement for Nursing Services on an IEP. These modules will be posted in the near future.

Each module is approximately 30 minutes in length, each includes resources, case studies and sample forms. 

This module is professionally closed-captioned. 

This course is available for 8 weeks from the date of purchase.

 

Cancellation: You can cancel your own registration for an event before the cancellation deadline. (Please check the event information for specific cancellation details.) If the event has a fee, refunds are possible only if cancellation is prior to the deadline. If you do not attend and do not cancel prior to an event, you are still responsible for payment and will be billed.

Special Accommodations: Please alert BrightWorks 2-3 weeks prior to the workshop/event if you need special accommodations, including sign language interpreters. (BrightWorks requires a notice of 2 business days to cancel a sign language interpreter. If you fail to cancel, we reserve the right to bill your school/district for this expense.)
