Description:
Practice cue reading and voicing skills with Angela Zellen. This cued language transliterator workshop will focus on developing fluency for receptive cue reading and voicing skills. This workshop will include a variety of interactive activities to further practice transliterating with a deaf consumer.
Presenter:
Angela Zellen is fluent in both ASL and cued speech. She was born with a hearing loss. She first started to learn ASL until cued speech was introduced in preschool at the age of three. Angela knows both cued speech and ASL have contributed to her ability to understand English and to communicate with deaf/hh peers. Angela enjoys volleyball, college, meeting new people, psychology, making crafts, attending workshops and many more. Angela is an advocate for cued speech.
