9:15 – 9:30 Statewide Updates (Tami Childs)
9:30 – 10:00 Small Group Discussions – How do you model AAC throughout the day? How do you manage student AAC devices? Describe or demonstrate how you utilize AAC during learning opportunities.
10:00 – 11:00 Supporting and Empowering Paraprofessionals in Using AAC Best Practices (Kathy Bailey)
11:00 – 12:00 Lunch
12:00 – 2:00 POWR+ful strategies to support AAC implementation in classrooms (Dr. Sarah Douglas)
2:00 – 2:15 Break
2:15 – 3:15 Autonomy, Self-Determination, Dignity of Risk, and Harm Reduction for AAC Users (Donnie Denome & Cole Sorenson)

(BrightWorks requires a notice of 2 business days to cancel a sign language interpreter. If you fail to cancel, we reserve the right to bill your school/district for this expense.)
