Evidence Based Practice (EBP): Self Management Training and Project. The requirements of the year long project are:
1. Attend training on Self Management on August 20th, 2015 at Metro ECSU.
2. Develop and implement a self management intervention to fidelity with one or more students. Collect data on student progress.
3. Participate in a monthly call or visit with your assigned EBP trainer.
4. Share materials (including video tapes if developed as part of the project and permissions are obtained) with project administrator.
5. Attend a follow up training in the spring to provide feedback on your experience, share resources, and advise on future steps for scaling up EBPs for students with ASD in MN.
This project begins with an initial training on August 20th at Metro ECSU. Self Management is a specific EBP that increases student awareness of and ability to regulate their own behavior.

Cancellation: You can cancel your own registration for an event before the cancellation deadline. (Please check the event information for specific cancellation details.) If the event has a fee, refunds are possible only if cancellation is prior to the deadline. If you do not attend and do not cancel prior to an event, you are still responsible for payment and will be billed.
Special Accommodations: Please alert BrightWorks 2-3 weeks prior to the workshop/event if you need special accommodations, including sign language interpreters. (BrightWorks requires a notice of 2 business days to cancel a sign language interpreter. If you fail to cancel, we reserve the right to bill your school/district for this expense.) Update your profile as needed. Special accommodations are not included with each registration, but are stored in your profile until you make changes.
