You have been (or are) working on personalized assessment, instruction, time, and environment.
Students are learning and producing quality work against rigorous standards. That next step involves addressing:
How are teachers currently providing feedback, report learning, and determining grades?
How are we doing this for whole buildings?
What steps do we need to take to change a system that has been in place so many years?
How do we move beyond barriers?
This workshop will not be an introduction to standards based grading. We will focus on the how, rather than the what or the why. Grounding background information will be shared by the presenter as well as examples of current practices, models and challenge areas. Join us as we go beyond theory and into practice!

Cancellation: You can cancel your own registration for an event before the cancellation deadline. (Please check the event information for specific cancellation details.) If the event has a fee, refunds are possible only if cancellation is prior to the deadline. If you do not attend and do not cancel prior to an event, you are still responsible for payment and will be billed.
Special Accommodations: Please alert BrightWorks 2-3 weeks prior to the workshop/event if you need special accommodations, including sign language interpreters. (BrightWorks requires a notice of 2 business days to cancel a sign language interpreter. If you fail to cancel, we reserve the right to bill your school/district for this expense.)
